Critical Race Theory consumes the media, and educators from all sides face backlash, criticism, and punishment for their actions and beliefs. This workshop steps back to look at systems of oppression in the United States and how race became the fiery focal point of our times. Educators will leave with a refreshed lens about education in America and tools to examine their pedagogy using Culturally Responsive practices.
